Brian Keith Haydysch,of Stoddard, was born on June 15^th, 1957. He suffered a sudden heart attack on Sat. June 11 while camping with family and friends.

He died on Thurs. June 16, the day after his 59^th birthday party. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Sue, daughter Erika (Jereme) Resech, his beloved grandson Evan,

and his parents, Clarence & Rochelle.

Brian will forever be remembered by his sister Sheila (David) Streit, brothers Barry and Bret (Mary), sister-in-law Kristi Holden,brother-n-law Paul Holden and his devoted lab, Sadie, along with countless friends and family

whom were very blessed to have known him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother and father-in-law, Thora and Sig Holden, sister-in-law, Beverly Haydysch and brother-in-law Kurt Holden.

Brian loved fishing, trapping, hunting, camping, and just plain having fun with family and friends. He was a great story-teller. He also had a hidden talent….playing the accordion!

Brian touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. He was a Special Warden for the DNR for 14 years,

and a police officer for the Village of Stoddard for 6 years. Since 1983 he has been a Mail Carrier for the US Postal Service.

Brian was a member of Stoddard Bergen Fire Department for 41 years, having joined the department at age 18.

During this time, Brian served almost every Officer Position on the department including Trustee, Secretary, Fire Lieutenant,

1st Responder Lieutenant, Captain, Second Assistant Chief and his current position, Assistant Chief.  Brian was also an instructor

he has taught Hazard Material for Western Wisconsin Technical College, Boater Safety for Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources

and 100’s of in-house trainings for the Stoddard- Bergen Fire Department and other neighboring communities.He also had the distinct honor of being named the American Legion Firefighter

of the year in 2013. Brian was especially proud to have accompanied his father on the Freedom Honor Flight this past May.
