Britt R. Reid, of La Crosse, 43, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 13, 2010 after a brief illness.

 

He was born February 5, 1967 to Allyson M. and Donna M. Reid in La Crosse, WI. He attended Central High School in La Crosse.. He worked at many businesses in downtown La Crosse including Pastimes Bar, Sloopy’s Alma Mater, Nighthawk Tap, Spanky’s, The Helm and John’s Bar. He also worked for Wettsteins and the Big Event Company. His recent employer was The Joint in downtown La Crosse. He loved the Cubbies, softball, and DJ’ing. He will be greatly missed.

 

Britt is survived by a son, Dustin; mother, Donna; sisters, Heidi (Brian) Tweten, Stacey (Steve) Kreibich; brother, Brent (Heidi) Reid; nieces and nephews, Jeremy and Jordan Tweten, Kaitlyn and Bridget Kreibich, Ethan, Garrett, and Emily Reid; and many friends.

 

He is preceded in death by his Father; Cousin, Gary Reid; Uncle, Jerry Smith; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Trinity United Church of Christ, W4888 Harvest Lane, La Crosse, WI. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 AM until the service at the church on Saturday. Coulee Region Cremation Group at www.couleecremation.com is assisting the family.
