Daniel James Hensel
Daniel James Hensel, former school teacher at Christ Lutheran School, Burr Oak, Wisconsin for 32 years, and salesman at Sears Roebuck & Company in La Crosse and Onalaska, Wisconsin for 36 years, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Hillview Healthcare Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Out of respect for his wishes, no formal obituary will be published. But with deep regard for the many former students, fellow employees, and friends who would wish to know, his funeral arrangements are listed here as follows.
Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2015 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Melrose, Wisconsin. Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. A private family burial will be held at Grace Lutheran Cemetery where Daniel will laid to rest next to his wife, Mary.
Gifts and memorials for Daniel James Hensel can be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Dan Hensel was a quiet man of God who will be missed for the rest of our lives.
