Doyle L Robinson, 73, of La Crosse, WI, formerly of Modesto CA, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on July 30, 1941 to Otto and Mary Robinson.

Doyle worked as the general manager of the YARD Fence System Inc. in Modesto, CA.  Friends and family treasured his love of family, pride in his children, sense of humor, and gift for story-telling.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn (nee’ Olson) Robinson; children, Jeanie (Larry) Gaulke, Robert (Vivian Osornio), Tony (Teri), Susan (Jim) Poellinger, Gary L  (Connie), Allen (Amber); seven grandchildren; brother and  best friend, Gary E. (Pat) Robinson; sisters, Brenda (Joel) Hancock, Barbara Robinson, Margaret (James) Beck; brother Henry Robinson; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Janet (Kidd) Robinson; grandson, Andrew Osornio on April 24, 2015 and Wally, his beloved cat companion.

The family would like to thank Gundersen Health System of La Crosse including Dr. Conzemius and Cindy Vieth, and Gundersen Health System Hospice.

A celebration of Doyle’s life will be held at a later date in California.

Memorials in Doyle’s name may be made to Gundersen Medical Foundation.
