Elana “Jane” Anderson, age 71, of Sparta, passed away peacefully on September 16th, 2015, at Mayo Health System, La Crosse. She was born on June 11, 1944, to Bernard Oscar Hutchens and Florence (Byrns) Hutchens. Survivors include three children, Deb Anderson of Winona, MN, Jeff (Melissa) Roningen of Sparta, Susan Stelter of West Salem; three grandchildren, Taylor and Garett Roningen, and Ryan Stelter. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. A private memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
