Fred Arthur Brown, 85, of La Crosse, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He was born on March, 28, 1930 to Alfred and Louisa Brown. He married Barbara Lun on July 25, 1959, at Zion Lutheran Church in Galesville, Wisconsin.

Fred was very involved in his church. Fred served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Trane Company for 46 years.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara; sons, Daniel (Gloria), Mark (Silvia), David; grandchildren, Samantha, Heidi (Wayne), Justin, Curtis, Jessie; great grandson, Aiden; sister, Doris Dasher; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Father in law and mother in law, Elmo (Elva) Lun; brothers, Charles (Helen), Johnnie, Virgil; sisters, Orilla (Bob) Radke, Clara (Frank) Beach.

According to Fred’s wishes, no services will be held and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
