Jane Ellen Lockington, of West Salem, passed away June 20, 2016 in her home. She was born to Clara Belle and Rudy Gamroth on January 20, 1938.

Jane enjoyed sewing, knitting, crossword puzzles, and many other creative tasks. She was a wonderful cook at many restaurants throughout the La Crosse area.

Jane is survived by her children, Ron Lockington, Tami Johnson, Randy (Heidi) Lockington, Rocky (Angie) Lockington, Toni (Isaac) Hurst, Michael (Sue) Lockington, Traci Malin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Virginia Simplot, Rex Gamroth, Judy McGough, Scott Marini, Dan Marini, Jackie Johnson, Kelly Johnson; and nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clara Belle Johnson and Rudy Gamroth; son, Ricky Lockington; granddaughter, Candace McBride; brothers, Wayne Gamroth, Lyle Gamroth and Michael Marini.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:30 pm at the North Bend Lions Club in North Bend with a visitation starting at 11:00 am. Pastor Larry Olson will officiate. Memorials may be sent to Jane Lockington in care of Toni Hurst, 204 Clark St., Melrose, WI 54642.
