Jean Eleanor Modeen
Jean Eleanor Modeen, 92, of Onalaska, previously of Sun City, AZ passed away peacefully on October 9, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Onalaska.
She was born on May 18, 1924 in Superior, WI to Morris and Eleanor (Trisco) Nagle.
She went to Cathedral School and Superior Teachers College and was an avid golfer.
She married Bob Mahoney and they later divorced. She married Les Modeen and lived in Sun City, AZ.
She is survived by her sister, Kay Nix of La Crosse; brother, Jim Nagle of La Crosse; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Morrie Nagle; and sister, Irene Modeen.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
My Dear, Jean rest in piece and when you which heavens gate say hi to my Mom and Dad. Randy was just talking about you in the van when you, my Mom and Randy’s Folks went down to Rooslers Rust for dinner. Remember it was raining and Randy turned down the cart path by accident and you said, well, we can play 9 before dinner! What a great night. Will never forget it. You’ll always be in our prayers and memories.
