I am so very sorry for your loss. Over the last few months I was lucky enough to reconnect with Lisa through Bridget’s wedding planning and celebration and she was always such a joy to visit with. She even tolerated my carrying on about how after all these years, “your dad is still my favorite teacher”. ? We were able to ride together and spend time visiting about how proud she was of her sisters, what a beautiful singing voice Julie has and how supportive her parents have been to her. Always. Rest in peace Lisa. I will surely miss you.

  2. LeRoy and Sherri McKittrick

I can’t even begin to put into words how truly sorry I am to hear about Lisa. She was a very special part of my life and I treasure the memories we have together. I can’t think of middle school or high school without thinking of her bubbly, infectious personality and how she was loved by so many. It truly breaks my heart to know the world, and your wonderful family, has lost such an amazing person. The world is a little less whole without her.

Please, if there is anything I can do don’t hesitate to call or email.

    Memories are Forever
Though we can no longer see them they are always in our thoughts and god lets us see them each and everyday. When the sun rises each morning it reminds us of their smile. When the wind blows in our hair it reminds us of their touch. When the rain sprinkles on our faces it reminds us of their laughter. And when the rainbow lights up the sky it reminds us of their love. Their memory will always be a part of each and every day.

I hope the memories you have will bring you comfort. I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Dear Carla and family,
This absolutely breaks my heart. When I think of Lisa I have the cutest memory of her getting a haircut at New Waves and telling us that her mom was “boy crazy”. Out of the mouths of babes! I watched her grow on North Central Ave and then she went to college and I didn’t see her much. My heart hurts. Blessings to you.

  62. Bruce and Mary Lou Tessmer

Our deepest sympathy to Carla and Gayle, Jim and Julie, and all of the family. Lisa came into our lives as a third-grader in my classroom at Lincoln School. I remember especially her sense of responsibility about Farley, the family dog. Some noon hours she would hurry home to let Farley out, because no one else was available. She was well-liked by her classmates and was an eager participant in games and activities. We watched her grow up in the same RCHS Class of 2000 as our son, Eric. Bruce got to know her well as an adult when she worked at S&S. Lisa was such a special, caring, giving person. We ache for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  63. Jane Gaskell

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Lisa as a beautiful, caring person while working in Viroqua. You’re in our prayers for comfort and strength.

  66. Rebecca Thomas

To the Korb and Mathews family I am deeply sorry for your loss. Lisa, I will never forget what a great friend you were to me. As I have said several times today, you were such a kind person when the world seemed so cruel. Mike Jones and I were reminiscing today about you. He had a 3rd grade crush and I was envious of your gymnastic skills that I would never posses. It is no wonder that you became a nurse. You were always taking care of others first. It was just something in your heart. You are forever missed and never forgotten! As they say in the Navy, Fair Winds and Following Seas Lisa.

    Love “Becca” (Rebecca Colleen Thomas)
