Manley Harvey Christianson died May 19, 2016 at home at the age of 87. He was born in La Crosse on April 17, 1929 to Simon and Inga (Almos) Christianson. On November 27, 1953 he married Dorothy Jerome in Bangor, WI. They enjoyed 62 years together.

Manley lived his entire life in Wet Coulee on the Christianson farm that has been in the family since 1890. He retired from dairy farming in 2000, but continued to enjoy doing field work until the age of 80.  He was a lifetime member of the Mindoro Lutheran Church.

Manley enjoyed playing cards, dancing to classic country, the music of Dave Kiral and family gatherings.  He was very proud of his children, grandchildren and their spouses.

He is survived by three sons; Daniel (Sherri), Dale (Dawn) and Duane (Liz); two daughters, Donna (Dan Ritter) Christianson and Doreen Hameister; grandchildren; Seth (Katie) Christianson, Rachelle (Nick) Berger, Dana (Ryan) Brown, Brittney (Ben Lawrence) Stuhr, Ben (Kala Ingwell) Christianson, Nathan (Deelyn) Christianson, Kortney (Terry) Haines, Cameron (Katie Kruse) Montgomery, Melissa (Travis) Fischer, Greta and Kirsten Gunnarson and Danya Christianson and 18 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and Jerome family in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lester (Norma, Lorene), Martin (Vivian), Stanley and Willard; sisters Margaret (Clint) Hansen, Evelyn (Harvey) Gilbertson, Hazel (Ted) Christensen, Anna (Murven) Gilbertson, Nina (Warren) Miller, infant sister Adeline and son in-law Doug Hameister.

Memorial Services will be held at the Mindoro Lutheran Church at a later date. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
