Margaret Ann (Maggie) Wassmandorf, 54, died peacefully on June 5, 2010 after a long illness. Maggie was born April 24, 1956 to Werner G. (Wass) and Margaret C. (Peg) Wassmandorf in La Crosse.

  

She is survived by her sisters, Jenny (Skip) Maxfeldt of Boerne, TX, and Kathy Wassmandorf of Holmen, WI; 2 nephews Aethan Garrett of La Crosse and Tait Maxfeldt of Maui, Hawaii; 1 niece, Alyssa Maxfeldt of San Antonio, TX; her beloved puppies she was able to spend the last few months with, and friends.

 

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

 

The family wishes to express special thanks to hospice and to Terry Davis for making the last few months of her life comfortable.

 

In accordance with Maggie’s wishes, she will be cremated. Memorials may be sent to Coulee Region Humane Society. Coulee Region Cremation Group at www.couleecremation.com is assisting the family.
