Nakeata Mechelle Willis age 26, died in her home early Sunday morning January 8, 2017. She was born January 23, 1990 in Rockford Illinois. Nakeata was eldest of four children. She was survived by her Mother Yulonda St Junious and three year old daughter Neyla Mena Willis. She also left behind her sister Jazznique St Junious, and her two brothers, Keonte Willis and Janquan St Junious. Her boyfriend William Wriggle of six years. As well as three young nephews.
Nakeata was such a beautiful young woman full life and compassion for others. Her smile could light up a room and brighten your day no matter how you were feeling. She enjoyed spending time with those whom she cared for and loved. Nakeata enjoyed reading books and singing songs with Neyla for hours. She was a caring and attentive listener. She always tried to find away to help others sort out their problems. She hated to see other people in pain. Her friends loved her bold wit and wonderful humor. Nakeata had a way of making people laugh like a school . She was amazingly creative and she absolutely loved cleaning.
She was also survived by her father Kenny Willis and step mother Yolanda Moore Willis in Chicago Illinois. Her step father Willie St Junious in Lacrosse. Her grandfather Alonzo Tolefree in Arkansas. Well as her many friends, coworkers and distant relatives.
Nakeata will forever remain in our memories and our hearts. She will be greatly missed and NEVER forgotten.

You were such a lovely young woman. You were a great friend. You always went out of your way to help Kenz and I. The world is definitely not as bright without you in it… You were loved, and you will be missed dearly. I hope that you found the peace you were after. Rest easy friend. Until we meet again.

I am at a loss for words (& befuddled this sad sad news took this long to reach me). Nakeata was one of my absolute favorite teens I ever had the privilege to work with. So kind, ethical but firm in her values. She gave everyone a chance & listened as they’d speak their mind. She did not waiver about her values but accepted differences. My most deepest sympathies to all loved ones of hers. Nakeata was a respectful and friendly young lady who was taken too soon. A hole is left behind her boisterous being. May you find peace as she looks down while still protecting her own.
