Patricia R. Church
Patricia R. Church, 72 of Onalaska found eternal rest on March 8, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on Feb. 04, 1943 in Sparta, WI the Daughter of Roy and Mildred (Cain) Stanhope. She married David D. Church on June 23, 1962 and had three children; Todd (April) Church, Paul (Heather) Church, and Amy Church
She is survived by her three children, one brother, Larry (Ellen) Stanhope; two sisters, Jean Rommel and Sharron Balletta.
3 Grandchildren: Brandon (Janelli) Mikkelson, Cassie Mikkelson and Tyler Church.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Harley Stanhope and her sister Sandra Schaller.
Pat was employed at Trane Company from 1978 until her retirement in 2003. Needing to stay busy; she worked another 10 years as a part time employee at Woodman’s Food Market. Her truest passion in life was taking care of her home and family; she was the best mother anyone could ask for, always supportive. She loved her kids, her daughters-in-law, and grandkids dearly. It’s hard to describe what we will be missing with the loss of Pat. She was the “cornerstone” of our family, she was our care-taker and she was the “go-to” lady for us all. Always ready to lend an ear, and to lend a helping hand, happy to share with you in your good times and laughter, to be there with kind words of encouragement, always the “problem-solver” when times were tough, she was our strongest cheerleader, and our fiercest champion. We were SO lucky to have her in our lives; she will be dearly missed by us all.
There will be a celebration of life Friday March 13 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, hosted at Cedar Creek Golf Club, 2600 Cedar Creek Ln, Onalaska, WI (608) 783-8100.
