Sarah Ann Stenberg, 101, of Holmen, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.  She was born on September 16, 1913, to Cullen and Nellie Thomas.  She married Arthur Stenberg on June 11, 1934 in Galesville, Wisconsin.

Her greatest joy was visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Leone (John) Suttie; grand children, Joan (Blake) Iserman, Collin (Lisa) Suttie, Rosemary (Doug) Domnie; great grandchildren, Adam, Martha, Kyle, Kevin, Nick, Lauren, Ethan, and Kara; great great grandchildren, Noah, Kylie, Rayah; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, three sisters, daughter, Ruth (Dale) Swanson; and grandson Eric Swanson.

The family would like to thank Prairie Home in Holmen, Wisconsin, and the 4^th and 6^th floor staff at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 24 at Coulee Region Cremation Group and Funeral Home, 133 Mason St. Onalaska.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 until the time of the service, also at the funeral home.  Pastor Ted Dewald will officiate.
