Terry Lee Dusso

Terry Lee Dusso, 60, of La Crosse, passed away suddenly on June 30, 2016 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He was born February 2, 1956 to Charles and Mae Dusso. Terry married Karen Viner on July 26, 1980 on Grandad’s Bluff in La Crosse.

After serving in the US Navy, Terry worked for Northern Engraving for more than 30 years. Terry enjoyed the Green Bay Packers and fishing. He was know to many as “Mr. Fix It”. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandson Tyler.

Terry is survived by his wife, Karen Dusso; children, Corey Dusso, Ryan Dusso, Amanda Dusso; grandson, Tyler; brothers, Bob (Rosemary) Dusso, Doug Dusso; brothers-and-sisters-in-law, Jim (Lynette) Viner, Donald Viner, Terri (Van) Loken, Julie (Mike) Nissalke, Debbie (Tom) Nielsen; lifetime friend, Wanda Finn; several nieces, nephews, friends, and his favorite cat, Bootsy.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tommy Dusso.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St., Onalaska.

    I am sorry for your lost. Terry and I became good friends while serving in the US Navy on board the USS Nimitz. I will always remember him and his fix it attitude. I can remember working at his uncle’s auto parts store and the Christmas tree lot that his uncle set up in Virginia. That was a lots of fun and get away from the Navy. Terry will always be a true shipmate and he will be deeply missed.
