Bonnie Sands
Bonnie Sands, 74, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI on Saturday, September 30th, 2017.
Bonnie was born and raised in La Crosse, WI to parents Evelyn Shuda and Luverne Koenen. Bonnie remained in La Crosse, where she married and raised children of her own.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Debbie Heintz (Lance), Michelle Heintz (Tom), Danny Heintz, Michael Sands, and Dawn Sands (Rob). Her siblings: Kay (Johnny), Rochelle, Mike (Pat), and Mary (Herb). Her grandchildren: Chris, Danielle, Brittany, and Angelo. Many beloved nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She will truly be missed by family and many friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn Shuda and Luverne Koenen, daughter Nicole Sands, nephew Kevin, and grandson Dean.
May she now rest in peace with her guardian angel Nicole.
A funeral service will be held honoring her life at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason Street in Onalaska, WI, on Thursday, October 5th, 2017. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and Service will start at 6:00 PM. Chaplain Jeff Thomson will officiate. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at Hillbilly’s Bar and Grill, 1322 La Crescent Street, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
