Trempealeau – Patrick D Neitzel, 52, of Trempealeau died peacefully November 1, 2017 at Mayo Health Systems in LaCrosse, WI after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in 1965 to Franklin and Betty (Blank) Neitzel at St. Francis Hospital in LaCrosse WI. He was a graduate of Gale Ettrick Trempealeau High School.
Pat was a self employed automobile mechanic. He had a knack for building unique vehicles. He like going to swap meets and flea markets to find that one “special” item. He was a collector of many things. Beer cans, tootsie toys, matchbox cars and old metal can openers to name a few. He enjoyed working on cars in his garage and spent many long hours working on them. He was visited by many while working and always enjoyed the company and the conversations.
Pat is survived by his mother Betty Neitzel of Trempealeau, Father Franklin Neitzel of Ettrick, two brothers Chris (Julie) Neitzel of Holmen, Evan (Melissa) Neitzel of Chaska MN., one sister Shelby (Wayne) Truax of Ettrick, Maternal grandmother Eva Blank of Buffalo City and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pat was proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather Willard Blank, paternal grandparents Albert and Mary Neitzel and many aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St. Onalaska with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Msgr Steven Kachel will officiate.
