Ross “Rusty” G. Guldberg

On Sunday, September 30, 2018, the Lord reached down and gently carried Ross “Rusty” G. Guldberg home.

He was born on April 29, 1946 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Donald and Lois Guldberg. He graduated from Hampton High School in 1964 and Westmar College in 1968. He retired from First Supply in February 2014.

He enjoyed traveling with his wife to wherever the road would take them. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs. He was an avid trout fisherman. He loved scuba diving and was even a scuba rescue diver.

He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Carla Deam-Guldberg; children: Christopher (Cory) Guldberg, Lisa (James) Matile, Charity (Scott) Guldberg, Terry Stewart II; seven grandchildren: Mariah, Sheyenne, Brian, Kaylee, Cole, Samantha and Cade; one great-grandson, his name sake, Wyatt Ross Seelig Shaw; brother Kurt (Judy) Guldberg, and nephew Judd (Melissa) Guldberg.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, father and grandson, Addison Troxell.

A special thank you to Dr. Undeland, Gundersen Lutheran Oncology Department, Gundersen Lutheran Hospice and many others who supported his family during this time.

A private prayer service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 and an open house visitation will follow from 5:00pm – 6:00pm at the Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, WI  54650

A graveside burial service will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, Iowa.
