Carolyn Chambers (52) passed away peacefully on June 15^th, 2014 after battling cancer for the past six months.

Carolyn was born in Circleville, OH on August 9^th, 1961 to Lee and Barbara Rozelle. She married Dennis Chambers and later divorced.

Carolyn earned her Bachelors of Science Degree at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1986. She majored in Biology and was listed in Who’s Who among Colleges and Universities. She was a Production Supervisor in Cell Culture Clinical Manufacturing at Genetics Institute in Andover, MA and Senior Associate Scientist in Cell and Molecular Sciences at Wyeth Pharmaceutical. One of her many accomplishments was to design an environmentally controlled room for growth of cultures for new pharmaceuticals. This idea was first sketched on the back of a napkin, and implemented in a pilot plan.

Carolyn had a great sense of humor and wit and a love for animals and the outdoors. She loved gardening and had a green thumb.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her brothers Scott W Rozelle and Kenneth W Rozelle, grandparents Alice and Theodore Rozelle and Ellen and Pat Ingli. She is survived by Barbara Chambers (daughter), Lee T and Barbara Rozelle (parents), David (Debbi) and Steven Rozelle (brothers), Anny (Dean) Rozelle (sister), Nathan Rozelle (Amy) and Megan (Craig) Nester nephew and niece, Maddy and Cale Nester and Jase Rozelle grandniece and nephews, Richard (Judy) Rozelle uncle and aunt, Andrew (Mary) Rozelle and Amy (Neal) Williams cousins, Gooches (her dog) Izzy and Bella (her cats).

A special thanks for the wonderful care from Kathie Hengel and the folks at St Judes Hospice, Dr Paula Gill Mayo Clinic Health System and the nurses at the Mayo Clinic Cancer Care Center and Georgia Keenan family friend.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.  Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
