James Frank Hughes “JIM” passed onto his next life on January 12th, 2017…..4:06 PM. Jim was 61 years and never married. He was long time resident of the Hokah, La Crosse and La Crescent areas. Jim worked for many years for the La Crosse Company Store, ORC & Winona Knitting Mill.

Jim left behind many members of family and friends. He was the son of Mary Hughes and the late Paul Hughes. Brother Gary and his wife Jean of Brownsville, MN, Brother Jeff and his partner Lino of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Brother Mark and his wife Bonnie of Nodine, MN, Sister Lori Jambois and her husband Tim Jambois of Brownsville, MN & Brother Tim and wife Tara of Onalaska, WI

Jim had many friends who were dear to him. Jim had a fondness for his tomato plants, fishing & biking, Jim is also survived by nephews Patrick, Paul, Philip and Kyle along with his niece Kayla. No funeral services are planned, but a gathering of family and friends is to be held at a future date to honor his life and memory. Take care our son, our brother and our friend!
