To Joyce’s family, Please accept my sympathy with the passing of your mom.. She and I became friends when my dad Reimer Moe and your grandmother were patients at Bethany St. Joe’s. Your mom and I had some good times shopping and going to liunch when I would get to LaCrosse. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you..

Just finding out about the passing of my wonderful Aunt Joyce. I have to think about the laughter she brought to all of us. Aunt Joyce had an infectious laugh that could bring you to tears, joyful tears.I’m sure she is now content in Uncle Don’s arms. She will be missed but never ever forgotten. Love to all in your time of sorrow.

So sad to see Joyce go. It seems like yesterday we were smelling delectable duck and wedging ourselves in around crowded card tables to feast. Card games and off – color jokes inevitably followed and no one laughed like Joyce laughed. The years have passed too quickly and opportunities to stay in touch have been missed. Condolences to her devoted family.

I remember in 5th grade Mr. Blank took us to the beach and we dug for clams. I’m not sure if it was Sue or Sandy with me in class. All I know is I thought he was a great teacher. We were so excited. We got all these clams and then called Mrs. Blank to ask her how to cook them she said we couldn’t eat clams from the Mississippi river. I think she saved us all from being real sick. We were bummed.

Thinking of you at this difficult time.
