I haven’t seen Linda in years, but she was a very good friend of mine in high school and early adulthood. With all of the drama that high school and early adulthood brought with it, Linda was always a laid back, calming presence for me. She always had an optimistic view and a sense of neutrality about her. Some of my experiences with her are gleefully etched in my memory forever ~ like going to see Bob Seger in Minneapolis together. I regret that her path in life was full of thorns that eventually came to this conclusion. May she rest in peace. Will miss you good buddy. Until we meet again.

I first met Linda when she was a cleaner at Negro’s beauty salon on Market St. I must have been 7 years old,, I am now 44. I admired her right from the start she was a true person. I would hang out with her in the salon when she cleaned and more than likely drove her nuts. But she always would take time for me. I have always loved her for that. I than seen her again 30 yrs later at a bar on the northside. I instantly knew her. May that kindred spirit that she always had be alive forever and passed on to her children.

This so hard and can only imagine what your all going thur! Linda was a one in a bi-zillion! The things we did when younger can only laugh everytime we talked about them! Especially sneaking her out of hospital while her fingers were fused together and hitch-hiking to a party at 22. We did a lot of crazy shit and will miss you lady!!
