Sandra Kay Jackson, 70, of Sparta, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born April 7, 1945 to Doris Schields.

Sandra worked for over 20 years for the federal government as a financial analyst.

She enjoyed sewing, reading, and loved to dance. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and took great pride in her family. She had a strong faith in God.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Brian Jackson; son, Dwight (Aminnie) Boomershine; daughters, Deanne (Dean) Zuehlke, Jody (Jeremy Oliver) Seubert; grandchildren, Christian Bringard, Jacob Martin, McKenzie Seubert, Bradley Zuehlke, Raymond Gibbs, Jack and Sarah Oliver; great grandchildren, Asher Bringard, Stephan Gibbs; sisters, Nancy Schields, Virginia (Marv) Dahley, Doris Koopman, Judy (Ray) Geiger, Linda (Krist) Johnson, Vivian (Earl) Valley, Diane (Wayne) Dearman, Kathy (Jerry) Lyon; brothers, Elmer (Jean) Schields, Robert (Mary Ann) Schields, David (Beth) Dinger, Pete (Connie) Dinger, Herb Dinger; father and mother in law, LeRoy (June) Jackson; brother in law, Michael (Julia) Jackson; sisters in law, Debbie (Scott) Thurston, Lisa Jackson; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis (Doris) Dinger; sisters, Patricia Trones, Carol VanKirk, Evelyn Mullenberg; brother, Michael Dinger; grand parents, Ray (Olive) Brown; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Sparta American Legion, 1116 Angelo Rd. (Highway 21). Burial will be held at a later date.
