Timothy “Tim” Paul Gregory
Timothy “Tim” Paul Gregory, 64, of Trempealeau, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in his home. He was born January 2, 1951 to William and Doreen Gregory in England. He married Carole (Kerr) Gregory on December 15, 1994.
Tim was raised in Hapton Burnley, England where he worked for Lucas’s (TRW). It was there that he met his wife, Carole. In 1994, Lucas’s (TRW) relocated him to the Winona, MN, plant. In 1995, Carole and Tim had their daughter, Amy. He retired from TRW in 2013.
Tim enjoyed traveling, fast cars, Formula 1 racing, cooking (and eating), building homes. He was a superb husband, fantastic dad and will be dearly missed.
Tim is survived by his wife, Carole; his daughter, Amy; brother, Peter Gregory; his dog, Sofie; and other relatives and friends.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents.
Per Tim’s wishes a private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be give to the American Cancer Institute. Coulee Region Cremation Group of Onalaska is assisting the family.
I worked with Tim for many years in the Winona plant. He was an honest and sincere person to work with and will be truly missed. My sympathy goes out to his family. Was an honor to have known him.
Mr. Tim Gregory was one of my supervisors for seven years. He was soft spoken, had class and a quiet, but ready sense of humor. A carpenter in his personal time, Tim had a (much appreciated) respect for us, as laborers. It is beyond sad that he didn’t have more time in his retirement to be with his family and friends. Tim will be remembered with fondness by many.
