So sad to hear about Jack’s passing. He had a profound and lasting impact on our lives 36 years ago when Rod came home from the Marines, and Jack immediately grabbed him and send him on to officer training school for the National Guard, from which Rod retired as a full colonel three years ago, due in large part to Jack’s mentoring. What a great friend of our family and wonderful man—we will miss him and our condolences to the entire Liethen family.

So sorry for your loss. Had a great afternoon last summer with him at lake Lucerne. We lost a great person. I have great memories growing up next to the whole family out at the cottage during the summer. He will be greatly missed.
