Lucille Ann Jereczek, 86, of La Crosse and formerly of Dodge, WI, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in her home. She was born on November 8, 1926 to Frank and Amalia Jereczek.

Lucille served in the foreign service of the State Department for 30 years as a secretary to ambassadors in the following countries: Vietnam, Nepal, Japan, Lagos, Poland and Bulgaria. She was a licensed pilot during her time in Seattle, WA. She enjoyed more than 30 years of retirement on the farm, spending time with her family, entertaining, telling stories of her years in the service, and just enjoying life.

Lucille is survived by her brother Richard (Sherry); nieces and nephews Kevin, Kay, Kim, Keith, Kurt (Darla); great-nieces and nephew Paige, Mali and Nick.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Amalia; and brother Donald.

A private family service will be held. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
