Terry L. Decot
Terry L. Decot, 71, was born on Nov. 25, 1941. He always claimed he was a true turkey, considering he was born on Thanksgiving Day, the year of the two Thanksgivings. Terry was born to Lawrence W. Decot and Maxine V. (Hinkel) Decot. He was born in Richland Center, WI.
Terry was a 1959 graduate of Webb High School in Reedsburg, WI and in Sept. 1959 joined the US Navy.
He is survived by the loves of his life, Elaine, his wife of 47 years; twin daughters, Kay Ellen (John) Jones of the Holmen area, Kim Ann (Charles Jr.) McBain of Richland Center; son, Roger W. (Diane Erickson) Decot of Sun Prairie, WI; further survived by Ashley A. McBain and Charles J. McBain III of Richland Center and Alana Whitney Jones and Lawrence H. Jones of Onalaska.
Terry is preceded in death by both his mother in 1988 and father in 1990.
Terry was active in Masonic, Zor Shrine and Scottish rites and will have a service at the Lodi Masonic Temple. Officiating by PGM John Wilke and Lodi Masonic Lodge #99 on May 18th at 11:00 am. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
I wish to extend my most sincere sympathies to Terry’s family as Terry was one of my Class Guides in Scottish Rite and the Valley of Madison. His friendship meant a lot to me and we will truly miss him. Joe Fleming
