He will be missed, he is the last of my peers, the last of what was my family on Harrison Street in Chicago. Along with my own brother Sebastian (Sonny), and his brother Tony, the four of us were inseparable as young children, Those were the days when we were watched over by our grandmother Rose. . As the fates would have it we were not to stay together. Sonny and his brother Tony moved away when their Dad remarried, but we still would see them every Sunday morning, and then that too came to an end with the death of our grandmother.
But somehow through the years and even though Sonny ended up living his life in Wisconsin and I was in California we were able to communicate and see each other on occasion.. My sincerest regrets go to all of his children,. Betty..

My deepest sympathy to Sonny’s family. Sonny and I were first cousins. My father Louie and Sonny’s father Tony were brothers. One of my fondest memories is of Sonny and Joy visiting us on Van Buren Street and all of us sitting around the kitchen table. I had not seen him in many many years and I am saddened at his passing.
