Lynn “Woody” Woodliff, 94, of Rockland, WI passed away peacefully on December 24, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Sparta, WI. He was born on December 7, 1919 to Roy and Clara Woodliff. He later married Vivian Ames.
Lynn served in World War II in the 101st Airborne. Lynn was a high school sports enthusiast.
He is survived by sons, Lynn R. (Pricillia) Woodliff of Roscoe, IL, Dan J. Woodliff of Poplar Grove, IL, Terry L. (Joannie) Woodliff of Twin Valley, MN; Daughter, Nancy L. Woodliff-Starr of Fargo, ND; 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great grandchildren, and 3 Great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Vivian; four brothers, one sister, and son, Daryl D. Woodliff.
The family will hold a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to your local high school’s booster club. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
