Maureen Jean Bryant age 72 of La Crosse, WI  passed away peacefully on August 30th in her home. 

She was born January 9, 1939 to Thomas and Gladys Finn.  In 1961 she married Robert Bryant.  They later divorced. 
Maureen enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She cherished memories of time spent living in Genoa. She loved to be on the river, spending many summer afternoons watching kids fish and swim. She loved the many reunions and social adventures with her high school “buds”. She cherished time spent with Kris and the gang at Class of 68.

She is survived by son Micheal (Denise) Bryant of Hillsboro, WI and his children and stepchildren: Jon (Susan), Alan, Tamara, Kassandra (Jordon), Hunter and Bryce.  Son Thomas(Dawn) Bryant of La Crosse and daughter Kathleen (Stan) Bryant of Onalaska and granddaughter Lindsay (Corey),great granddaughters, Lillian and Leighton of La Crosse.
She is survived by nephew Tim (Kim) Candahl and nieces Karen (Mark) and Theresa (Tim).
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patricia Candahl and former husband, Robert Bryant.

Family would like to thank the hospice staff at Gundersen Lutheran for all their care and support. A private family service is being held in accordance with Maureen’s wishes.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Wisconsin Special Olympics.  Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
