Lloyd G. Schultz

Lloyd G. Schultz, 87, of Holmen, WI, passed away after battling cancer for 7 years.

Lloyd was born in Arcadia May 20, 1927 to Earl W. and Albina (Fonfara) Schultz. He attended Arcadia High School and later helped on his father’s farm. He was drafted in the Army and served with the Infantry Division in the Korean War.

On his return, he met Helen Malesytcki. They were married September 21, 1954.

Lloyd worked for Armour & Co. and as foreman in the food service industry for Pacific Gamble Robinson, Food Services of America and A.J. Sweet until his retirement. He had a love for horses and collecting antiques.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter Kathy Schultz; son Mike (Amy) Schultz, grandsons Kyle and Riley Schultz, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest and Gaylord; and nephew Ken Schultz.

Visitation at 10 AM with mass at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 515 Main Street N, Holmen. Military Honors will be provided by the Holmen American Legion Post 284.  A private burial will be held at a later date at the Catholic Cemetery in Trempealeau. Memorials are preferred to “family wishes”.  Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family. “You were always there for us.” He will be sadly missed by his family. We will always have him our hearts and spirit. May he rest in peace. The family of Lloyd Schultz
