My sympathy to you. Thank you for sharing Samantha’s struggle with addiction. I truly believe that by going public about addiction we may begin to confront the stigma of this awful disease.

Sam, of the short time we spent together, you were always unapologetically yourself. You showed me to have confidence in who you are, and I won’t forget the good times we had with your family and siblings at home. I was always envious of your close relationship with your family, and your awesome softball skills. Thank you for the sweet memories. My deepest sympathies to your family. Rest in peace Sam, we love you dearly.
