Roy Dale Hendrickson
Roy Dale Hendrickson, 83, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully in his home on March 15, 2020. He was born on June 8, 1936 to Edgert and Ida Hendrickson. He married Jo Ann Griebe on June 6, 1959 at Trinity Lutheran Church in La Crosse
Roy enjoyed watching Nascar, the Green Bay Packers, Deer Hunting, listening to Polka, watching country westerns and working on crossword puzzles. He liked socializing with friends at the L & M tavern.
Roy is survived by his daughters, Sue (Dave Oswald) Mueller of La Crosse, Colleen (Bill) Peterson of Cresco, IA, Lynn (Ron Tilson) Hendrickson of La Crosse; son Eric (Heather) Hendrickson of St. Augustine, FL; sister, Nancy (Ralph) Bean; brother-in-law, Claude Florey; granddaughters, Lisa (Baylee) Stull of Diagonal, IA, Ashley (Jordan) Shimek of Waucoma, IA, Brittany (Mark Fisher) Smock of Calmer, IA; grandsons Ian Mueller of Luana, IA, Jackson Hendrickson of St. Augustine, FL, Holden Hendrickson of St. Augustine, FL; step-grandchildren, Sheridan Adler of Tomah, WI, Hannah Tilson of La Crosse, WI; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Hendrickson; son, Keith Hendrickson; parents; and siblings, Gale Hendrickson, Jeaneen Florey, Denise Nelson, Carol Westmeyer.
The family would like to thank Nancy and Ralph Bean for taking special care of him.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 11am at The Gathering Place,133 Mason St., Onalaska. Pastor Ted Dewald will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
