Mary Beth Bion
Mary Beth Bion, 75, of Rockland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, surrounded by her family.
She was born November 24, 1944, in La Crosse to William and Helen (Mashek) Bjorkman. She married Ron D Bion August 25, 1962 in La Crosse.
Mary loved spending time on her back deck with her family, her dog Molly and a glass of wine watching the wildlife in her backyard. She enjoyed planting her flowers every spring and watching them bring in her hummingbirds every summer. Mary also loved her collection of cardinal plates and figurines. She and her husband Ron loved to camp and fish together and loved a Friday fish fry with her famous au gratin potatoes. She was a member of American Legion Post 52 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Ron, daughter Teri (Bjorn) Simonson; son Ron (Sally Zager) Bion; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mary was proceeded in death by her Father and Mother; three sisters; Joyce Butler, Janice Torgerud and Margaret (Margie) Murphy; two brothers, Glen and Gordon Bjorkman.
The family would like to thank all the staff from Gundersen Hospice for helping to take such good care of her.
Due to covid-19, a celebration of life will be postponed to a future date.

Mary it’s hard to tell you how much you will be missed, you were our aunt but to me you were more like a sister, only being one more year older that’s.i remember staying at your house for sleepovers and the Christmas there. I was always jealous because you always got the most popular doll at Christmas. I remember going to the cottages in the summer with aunt Janice and Aunt Marge. So many memories. Now you and sandy can keep each other company. Love you. So sorry for this loss Ronny. And the rest of your family
