John A. Rose Jr
John A Rose Jr., 61, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Sparta. He was born May 2nd, 1960 to John A Rose Sr and Virginia Rose (Mallette) in La Crosse. He was united in marriage to Julie Miller on May 13th, 2005.
John graduated from La Crosse Central High School in 1979 and later attended WWTC. He was active in the deaf community. He enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and was known for his art work.
John is survived by his wife, Julie and sweet dog Zoe; father, John Rose Sr.; siblings, John (Brenda) Lewis, Kelly (Mike) La Fleur, Michelle Rose, David (Laurie) Rose; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
John is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Rose.
The family would like to thank the care team of Mayo Hospice for taking such good care of John.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St, Onalaska with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Scott Skogen will officiate.
Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

Doug and I were very sad to hear about John’s passing. We remember him as a very kind man who was friendly to everyone he met. We rejoice that he is now celebrating his eternal life with our Lord Jesus in Heaven.

May you rest easy now John Rose! I grew up seeing you at family gatherings and with my Uncle Joe. I was always in awe of your art work. I remember you did a Chinese artwork on a goose egg! Sending my prayers to his wife and family. He was a great guy!
