Louis H. Knudson
Louis “Lou” Henry Knudson age 79, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 12th, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. He was born on August 17th, 1943 to Ralph and Adeline (Muenzenberger) Knudson.
Lou graduated from Logan High School in 1961. He served proudly in the United States Army and worked at McLoone Metal Graphics. In his free time, he loved listening to music and had an eye for collectables. He also had a heart for animals, big and small.
On behalf of Lou, he requested to not have any funeral services.
So sorry for Lu’s passing. I enjoyed our many talks and will miss him greatly
Lou was a true friend for the past 50 odd years. We shared so many picnics, adventurous road trips, happy hours, Oktoberfest parades, and carefree days as well as the inevitable sad losses throughout those years. We’ll miss our occasional, lengthy phone chats of more recent years and knowing that he was keeping an eye on all our friends and common interests in the LaCrosse area.
I’m glad to have met his mother and sister over the years. My sympathies are with his surviving family and friends at this sad time for us all.
