Obituary
Leatrice (Edie) Lee Kasch
Leatrice (Edie) Lee Kasch, 75, of Brice Prairie and formerly of Beloit, WI, passed away on Sunday, July 28th, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Edie was born on December 22, 1948, in Viroqua, WI, to the late Harlan and Donna Yttrie. Her nickname was earned as a child growing up in Victory. As a teenager, she moved to Beloit and attended Turner High School. Edie met the love of her life, Kenny, in Burwood Park, whom she married December 27, 1967.
Together, they had 3 children; took care of many foster kids over the years; and later adopted the first foster child they ever took in. Edie was a wonderful wife and mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She was completely devoted to her family, always putting their needs before her own.
Edie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth; their children Taia (Larry Hanson) Kasch of Black River Falls; Robert (Autumn Fry) Kasch of Beloit; Leah Kasch of Brice Prairie; and Jennifer Kasch of Holmen, WI; grandchildren AJ, Isaiah, Christian, Everleigh, and Grayson; and her beloved and faithful rottweiler Lucky.
Edie was predeceased in death by her parents, Harlan Yttrie and Donna DeLacy-Craig; and her brothers, Harold and Rodney Yttrie.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 2-6 pm at Nutbush City Limits.
