Leonard “John” DeFlorian, 66, of Houston, MN, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, May 2, 2015.  He was born on September 9, 1948 to Leonard and Donna (Parrish) DeFlorian.

Growing up Leonard developed a passion for the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.  He worked construction from 1967 until retirement. 

Leonard is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debra (Werner) DeFlorian; daughter, Tammi DeFlorian of La Crescent, MN; son, Jeremy (Rita) DeFlorian of Houston, MN; brothers, Donny  (Sue) DeFlorian of Genoa, Jim (Terri) DeFlorian of Genoa; sister, Karen (Greg) Groskoff of Chaseburg; grandchildren, Brandon, Bryan, Brittany; great grand children, Paige, Payton, Aiden, Noah, Bentley; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Donna; in laws, Franklin and Delores Werner; sister, Diane; and nephews, Craig and Danny DeFlorian.

The family would like to thank Gundersen Health System staff and hospice for their end of life care. 

As per Leonard’s wishes there will be no services.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
