Byron D. Osterlie passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 22, 2025 at the age of 78. He was born in Stoughton, WI to Adolf and Ingeborg (Seamonson) Osterlie on March 16th, 1946. Byron was married to his wife Sherry on July 1st , 1978. They moved to La Crescent, MN where Byron raised his family, worked, and enjoyed his hobbies. He loved to golf, bowl and play cards with friends.

Byron is survived by his sons and grandchildren: Scott and his children, Alex and Jessica in Wisconsin; Owen in Pennsylvania, and his children Owen, Carmen and Vivian; Mike (Mina) and their three children in Minnesota; and David (Molly) and their two children in Virginia. Byron is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and two brothers.

Services for Byron will be held at Olivet Lutheran Church in La Crosse, WI at 10:30am on February 11th , 2025. A visitation will be held from 9:30am until the time of the service.
