My family & I were saddened to see online that your mother, Lois, had passed away. While they were still living in Reedsburg, I had the privilege of enjoying lunch or dinner with your parents at Longley’s or Don’s Place, as my dad lived in Baraboo. My mother, Elaine Widmer Deahl Polick, is your dad’s 2nd cousin, as their Widmer grandfathers were brothers. My mother helped organize the Widmer family reunion, which one of you attended in 2001. She then wrote in 2003 the history “The Widmer Family in America.” My dad passed in 2004, but my mother will be 90 at year’s end. We hope your dad is in good health; should you wish to contact me, use email recdar@roadrunner.com. Again, condolences on the passing of your mother, whom I will always fondly remember, from your 3rd cousin, Roberta Deahl Craig of Orange County, California
