My dad Robert (Bob) Hogan passed away this afternoon while in Hospice care at Hope Stay assisted Living. He was born September 3,1935 in St. Paul, MN and was 89.  He worked at West Publishing in St. Paul, MN in the shipping department for 40 years before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie (Fleming) Hogan and siblings Shirley, Clarence, and Jack. And also his parents Clarence Sr.  “Doc” and Florence” Flossy” (Weisner) Hogan and also a special friend Barbara Sharffbillig.

Surviving Siblings are his Sister Maureen Colovaard, in Florida and Brother Mike in Matamehdi,  MN, and grandson, Kyle Edwards.

is Brother Mike and Wife Deb were enroute to visit him  when Robert passed away and we met up with them where Robert was residing at Hope Stay . They helped us tremendously with the arrangements. Jeff and Finn   were there as well.  I want to thank all the care providers at Hope Stay and the Gunderson Healthcare doctors , nurses and EMTs and also the  St. Croix Hospice nurses and Brianna for all the care they showed my dad in his last years with us.

I will miss him, he was loved and in his final years he was able to say back to us, he loved us all as well. As my dad always said when we left from our visits,  “Oh Boy” I love you!
