Love your Fur Baby, Brutus
Jane C. Stone, born December 15, 1957, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, died at her home in Onalaska, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Jane’s parents, James C. Stone, Sr and Mary M. Rendler Stone of La Crosse, Wisconsin preceded her in death.
Jane is survived by a brother, James C. Stone, his wife, Sonya, her beloved nephew, Dalton James and niece, Maggie Marie all of Sparta, Wisconsin. Jane has other relatives in the surrounding areas including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jane graduated in 1976 from Logan High School. Prior to retirement, she worked for many years at Columbia Studios and later in a local attorney’s office.
While always attending the activities of Maggie and Dalton, the other love of her life were her fur babies through the years. Always by her side and always her number one priority. Sugar, Spice and Peanut who have already passed over the rainbow bridge, and her current companion, Brutus.
We will always keep Jane in our hearts and minds. Remembering our fun times, holiday gatherings, and memories as a family. Jane is not gone…she has merely gone on.
All services will be private at a later date.

Dear James and Family, I was so sorry to hear about Jane, I remember many great times I had with your sister with during our childhood. We lost touch which I regret she was a kind and good person. I remember your rabbits at your house on Hanson Street, getting rides from your Mom from Girl Scouts meeting held at Summitt School. Her picture says a thousand words she was a beautiful soul. Take care and my condolences.
