Doloris M. Schmeckpeper of rural Coon Valley, Wisconsin passed away on December 19, 2025.  She was born January 19, 1931 to Lester and Elnora (Schlicht) Mundstock.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Town of Hamburg, Vernon County.

On September 1, 1954 she was united in marriage to Gene Schmeckpeper at the same church.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn (Brian) Wierzbicki of West Salem and Ellen (Kevin) Semke of Coon Valley.

Grandchildren- Anthony (Sara) DePaolo of La Crosse, Adriane (Dave) Jaeger of Eau Claire, Jamie (Chris) Schroeder of Bangor,  Angela (Ryan) Capwell of Onalaska, Abigail Wierzbicki of Sparta.  Kyle (Tamar) Semke of Coon Valley, Nathan (Heidi) Semke of Chaseburg, Erin (Bailey) Brueggen of Cashton.

Great Grandchildren- Braydon and Kaia DePaolo, Sam and Lily Jaeger, Aliyah and Ayden Schroeder, Finnlee and Sutton Capwell, Harper and Howard Semke, Brody, Daxton and Austin Semke, Peyton and Easton Brueggen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Father-in-law Edward Schmeckpeper and Step-Mother-in-law Alma (Hemker) Schmeckpeper.

Per Doloris’ request no funeral service will be conducted.   A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.

Memorials preferred to Christ- St. Johns Lutheran School or St. John’s Lutheran Church of Barre Mills.
