Mark Paul Yaeger
Mark Paul Yaeger, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in La Crosse, Wisconsin on December 31st , 2025. He was born on February 17th, 1955, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Paul and Joanne Yaeger.
After graduating from Southern Illinois University he went on to a career as an audio/visual specialist at Wausau Hospital in Wausau Wisconsin.
Mark and his wife Jackie found joy exploring the outdoors whether it be camping, boating, or kayaking.
Later as a stay at home dad, Mark had a steady devotion to his family, often found cooking meals, doing repairs around the house, and attending his children’s events. He filled the house with his bright sense of humor and was known for his genuine kindness and love for the Green Bay Packers.
Mark is survived by his children: Alexander, Lauren (Michael) Wanke, Jamie (Ariane) from his marriage to Jackie. He is also survived by his children: Cory (Pamela), Justin (Jessica), and Kathryn from his marriage to Teri.
Mark is survived by four grandchildren: Caleb, Nicholas, Kayla, and Olivia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Joanne Yaeger, and his sister, Mary Jo Harris.
A service celebrating Mark’s life will be held on Monday, January 5th, 2025, at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, Wisconsin 54650 from 1pm – 3pm. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Flowers, cards, or memorial contributions to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, are all welcome in memory of Mark.
