Orval Edward Becker Jr. age 81 of La Crosse died Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.  He was born June 2nd, 1944 to Orval Sr. and Pearl (Colby) Becker of La Crosse, WI.

After graduating from Central High School in La Crosse, he enlisted in the Navy where he was honorably discharged and went on to trade school for Carpentry.  He then worked as a carpenter for his entire career and retired from TCI construction.  He was married to Carol Jane Pelowski in 1969.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his family.

On April 2, 2026, Orval Edward Becker, a cherished, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.  He was the only son of 10 children.  Orval had 2 sons: Scott (Sara) Becker of West Salem and Chad Becker of La Crosse.  He had 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held from 11:30 am on Saturday April 11, 2026 at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St. in Onalaska, WI.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting CouleeCremation.com
