Debra K. Shaw passed away from a battle with cancer on May 10th, 2026. she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. she was born in Lacrosse Wi on June 14th, 1956, to Leo and Kathryn Endres. She and her four siblings Janet (Fandell), Roger, Gerald, and Betty (Helgeson) grew up in Sparta WI.

Debra met the love of her life, Richard Shaw, at her best friend’s wedding. they fell in love, and raised four daughters- Shawn, Jessica, Amber, and Jennifer, in Lacrosse Wi.

Deb was always a good student and furthered her education at WWTC with a degree in accounting. she worked for H&R block during tax seasons.

she enjoyed traveling by Richards side while he worked for over the road truck driver.
She spoke frequently of her favorite traveling experiences to Niagara Falls, Hawaii, Saint Louis, Florida, and Nashville along with many more. she was an avid member and at one point served as president, of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 52 in Lacrosse WI. Some of her hobbies were crocheting, cooking and baking and spending time with family.

Debra is survived by her siblings Roger, Gerald, and Betty; along with her daughters Jessica, Amber Stoleson (Jeff) and Jennifer; Grandchildren Erik, Mackenzie, Timothy, Isak, Nathan and Easton; and her great grandson Timothy along with soon to be timothy’s sibling.

she is preceded in death by her parents, sister Janet, husband Richard and children Shawn (who passed 2 months before her) and Joshua (who passed as an infant).

many of her children’s friends referred to her as mom due to her kindness shown to them. Debra will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

A celebration of life for Debra and her daughter Shawn with be held Saturday July 11th, 2026, at noon- 5pm at Myrick Park in Lacrosse WI 54601. at the Gun shelter please come and celebrate their life’s and tell stories and time to remember them.
