Leslie Jo Brown, 76, was born November 7th, 1949, in La Crosse, WI. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 6th, 2026.

Leslie attended Washburn Elementary and graduated from La Crosse Central High School. She worked in retail at Pizza Hut, Dayton’s, Wild Wings, and Briar Patch. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, and collecting art. She also enjoyed crocheting and crafting. She liked bird watching and the surrounding wildlife. She loved watching her children and grandchildren grow up. Her children and grandchildren have fond memories with her in the family pool on summer days. She enjoyed hosting her family for Christmas Eve and Thanksgiving.

Leslie Jo and Greg Brown married April 14th, 1973. They were married for 53 wonderful years. They raised three children, took vacations, and enjoyed spending time with family at home.

Leslie is survived by her loving husband, Greg Brown, her 3 children, Joan Wagner, Steve Brown, and David Brown (Emily Zielke). She is survived by 10 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Joel, Karin, Anna, Sarah, Julian, Jonathon, Matthew, Lydia, and Wesley. She is survived by 5 great grandchildren, Isla, Blakely, Leland, Haddon, and Brody. She is survived by siblings, George Arnold, Steve Coady, and Chuck Coady.

Leslie is preceded in death by her parents, Art and Dorothy Coady, stepfather, Stanley Arnold Sr, and grandson, Isaac. She is preceded in death by six siblings, Marcia Pickett, Diana Loomis, Art Coady, Bill Coady, Stan Arnold, and Kevin Arnold.

In honor of Leslie’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Leslie’s name can be made to a humane society of your choosing.
