Dian Kay Numsen
Dian Kay Numsen peacefully left this life to a new life in heaven on June 7, 2026 surrounded by her family in her home. She was born July 29, 1934 in Austin, MN to Jack and Helen Pribble. She married Robert “Bob” Numsen on May 14, 1955.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bob Numsen; parents, Jack and Helen Pribble; brother, Fred (Elaine) Pribble; grandson, Nicholas Neumann; and nephew, Jim Pribble.
She is survived by her four daughters; Mary (Pete) Ignosiak, Betsy Numsen, Cathy (Jim) Geary, Gigi (Denny) Cramer; grandchildren, Bob, John, Heidi, Dian, Josh, Joey, Bob (Kelly) Geary; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Dian was a wonderful wife and mother to 4 daughters. She was a stay at home mom until her daughters started school. She worked for her family business Numsen T.V. and appliance for many years. After her husband sold his business she worked for Norma’s salon for many years.
My mom loved the beach and river and we spent many family weekends on the river on the pontoon my dad built. She was very social and loved to talk to neighbors and friends. In her later years she loved going out to lunch with her daughters, reading books, and playing cards (King’s corners). She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church with her sister-in-law Donna Numsen. They also would go to lunch or dinner together.
She was a great wife and mother who put her family first. She had a heart of a Saint and courageous as a lion. She had a positive and contagious laugh. She will be greatly missed and is a treasure in her daughters hearts. She is home in heaven and one day we will meet again.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:30 am at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska by Father Rick Roberts of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
