Nicole Lee Belcher (McArthur) October 16, 1967~September 19, 2026

Nicole was the most generous human being who ever lived. Gifting things to people was her love language. If she loved you, you knew it—and she had a special way of making sure you felt cared for.

If Nicole met you, she remembered everything you ever told her—and then some. She remembered the little things that most people would forget, and when she retold your stories, she often added her own special touch. Somehow, the stories always seemed to become a little more memorable when Nicole told them.

Friends and family were her entire life, and that included her animals. Nicole made friends wherever she went and had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome and loved. She never met a stranger for long. Once you became part of Nicole’s world, you were family.

Nicole’s CIF work family meant the world to her. They were so much more than coworkers—they were her people. Our family will forever be grateful for the friendship, love, kindness, and support they gave Nicole, especially throughout the last chapter of her life.

Nicole passed peacefully in her childhood home after a courageous battle with glioblastoma. She fought all the way to the end with incredible strength and determination. Even through the hardest days, Nicole continued to think about the people she loved and the things that mattered most to her.

And now, after everything she endured, Nicole is with her happily ever after, Rick. We find comfort in knowing they are together again.

Nicole is survived by her sons, Tate and Jesse; her mother, Linda McArthur; her sisters, Amy McArthur and Heidi McArthur; her aunts, Sissy (Alan) Olson, Sheila Nichols, Sally (Dan) Miller, and Sandy (Don) Peterson; and her nephews, Jordan McArthur, Eli Ryan, and Liam

Leftridge. She also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Zoe, Cameron, and Eva were especially special to Nicole. These little cousins made sure to visit her several times a week and always knew how to make her smile.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce, and her husband, Rick.

Nicole leaves behind a lifetime of love, friendships, stories, laughter, and memories. She had a gift for making ordinary moments special and for making the people around her feel like they mattered. Her generosity, her unforgettable personality, and her enormous heart will live on in everyone who knew and loved her.

There will never be another Nicole.

And knowing Nicole, she would want the people she loved to gather together, share stories, laugh often, take care of one another, and keep her memory alive.

She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.
