Katherine Louise (Demma) Puent, 76, of Holmen, passed away September 30, 2026, surrounded by family.

Katherine was born on July 13, 1950, to Frank and Katherine (Smith) Demma, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She lived with 6 siblings with lots of love and laughter. She was united in marriage to Thomas Puent on June 12, 1993, in La Crosse, WI. They would never forget their anniversary because it falls on his birthday.

Katherine loved to do word searches, cross-stitch, and loved to read books and spending time with her beloved dogs Scamp and Chuck, and spending time with her friends and family.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Thomas Puent, Daughter, Anita Demma of Burnsville, MN, stepdaughter’s Debbie (Puent) Clark of New Lisbon, WI, Peggy Sue (Joe) Schmidt of Williamsburg, VA, granddaughters, Hayley Mudek, Gianna Mudek, Rene (Tyler) Witt, grandsons, Arik Steele, Alex Totaman, great granddaughter Jocelyn Bolden, sister, Marlene, brother, Bob, sister-in-law, Nancy Jones, brother-in-law, David (Sally) Puent, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Katherine Demma, her parents-in-law, Elliott and Ellen Puent, brother-in-law, Glen Jones, sisters, Gina and bonnie, and her brother Frank.

A celebration of life will be held for Katherine on Wednesday, October 07, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, WI.
